The Auckland Fire Police unit, comprised totally of volunteer members, acknowledges the valuable contribution made by some of our employers (including Members who are self-employed) who assist us, and therefore our Unit, ensuring our services are available to the community when it calls for help in times of emergency. These businesses assist us in many different ways.
We salute them through the New Zealand Fire Service's formal Employer Recognition Scheme.
We hope they will display with pride the symbol (below) showing their participation in what's becoming a rather exclusive "club" : those who actively support volunteers in the Fire Service. We look forward to adding to the list:
