Minutes from the first
Auckland Fire Police meeting
Auckland Fire Police still have their original "birth certificate", the minutes of the founding meeting in June 1933. This copy of the first page is probably in the handwriting of acting-Secretary Harry Jane and lists the 12 men who offered their services to form the new organisation and records the election, pro-tem, of Constable Paterson as Chairman and acting-Captain, and Constable Archer as acting-Lieutenant until the next meeting of the Corps.
